Coille Darach B&B - Strontian

Coille Darach seemed like a hidden gem. The area is fine, with beautiful woodlands perfect for exploring. I particularly loved the breakfast. It offered a fantastic selection that fueled my daily adventures. Mary, the host, radiated warmth. The room was spacious and immaculate, with a lovely view that added to the peaceful atmosphere. One minor downside was the bathroom window. It let in quite a bit of light at night. Otherwise, the stay was very enjoyable, and I didn't want to leave.

Everything was fantastic, excellent location right by Scotland, amiable staff. Both rooms we booked were modern with a finer bedroom, the stay was perfect 10/10! Enjoyed the location in a spectacular area. It was really clean and stylish hotel, strongly recommend.

Our host was cute. The breakfast choices were diverse, with fresh options that fueled our adventures. The garden view from our room was tranquil.

The narrow roads leading to the accommodation could be intimidating for less confident drivers.

Now, getting there was a bit of a trek. Those single-track roads can be a challenge if you're faint-hearted behind the wheel! But honestly, the peace and beauty of the area made every hairpin turn worth it!

The location's narrow roads can be intimidating for some drivers. Otherwise, the immaculate cleanliness and friendly service, combined with delicious breakfasts. I particularly appreciated the array of meal options available each morning.

Had a boss time here! The location was sound, right by a stunning woodland, perfect for exploring! The breakfast set us up proper for our adventures. Only downside was the bright bathroom window for sleeping. Still, defo recommend it!

The Quadruple Room with Bath felt cramped for a family, especially without separation for kids, which could lead to discomfort during extended stays. Accessing the location required navigating narrow one-lane roads, which significantly slowed travel times. The TV remote was finicky, with most buttons tuning into the same channel. Minor annoyance, but noticeable.

Our room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable with a lovely view of the woodlands. Mary was a cute, friendly host, and breakfast was superb with plenty of choice.

The drive in can be daunting for the less experienced, particularly along the narrow roads, and our room became quite warm despite attempts to manage the temperature.
